NAAC peer team visits Ravenshaw

Cuttack: A five-member team of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) visited the Ravenshaw University here today to assess its infrastructure facilities and education standard.

The team headed by Professor Ranganath would conduct the inspection for three days. On the first day, it met all HoDs and collected a comprehensive data on all the departments. The officials are also scheduled to visit the second campus of the varsity.

University Vice-Chancellor Prakash Sarangi said, “The team has five members, including Professor Ranganath and Akhilesh Singh. This is just a validation exercise. We gave a snapshot of the university today. They would hold discussion with all HoDs. This is the first visit of the NAAC peer team after accordance of the university tag to the educational institution.”
