Tokyo/Bhubaneswar: Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda met Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe today and held discussions on bilateral relations during Japan-India Track Two Strategic Dialogue in Tokyo.

Panda who is leading a delegation of Indian parliamentarians to Japan is going to address a gathering tomorrow on political developments in both countries as a part of the initiative facilitated by Ananta Aspen Centre in collaboration with Nippon Foundation.

Further, participants of both countries will share their outlook on issues such as domestic political developments, economic growth, energy cooperation, security and foreign affairs. Discussions will also be held on the development of the Indo-Pacific region as an economic corridor.

The other members of the Indian delegation include Sikkim Democratic Front MP Prem Das Rai, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP Jayadev Galla, BJP's Bijnor MP Bhartendra Singh and Congress MP Vivek Tankha.
