Bhubaneswar: BJD president and CM Naveen Patnaik, continuing his party reorganisation exercise, effected  two important changes including removal of Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda from the post of Parliamentary party spokesperson today.

The other change came in the form of party spokesperson and Barchana MLA Amar Satpathy, who recently voiced his disappointment over no leaders from his district Jajpur getting ministerial berth in the ministry reshuffle, being appointed as the chief whip of the party by Naveen.

Amar will be replacing Anant Narayan Das who was given the Higher Education portfolio in the recently-concluded ministry reshuffle.
