Bhubaneswar: Bimala Harichandan, mother of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Prasad Harichandan, passed away on Monday evening. She was 86.
She was suffering from old age related ailments for quite some time.
She is survived by two sons and three daughters. Prasad Harichandan is her eldest son.
Bimala was born in Uparasahi of Khurda town.
A few years back her husband and litterateur Fakir Harichandan had passed away.
