Monsoon session of Odisha Assembly from Sept 21

Bhubaneswar: The monsoon session of the Odisha Assembly would begin from September 21, a notification to this effect was issued by the State Assembly Secretariat today after a formal approval by Governor SC Jamir.

As per the notification, there will be eight working days of the Assembly session which would conclude on September 29.

It may be mentioned that the monsoon session was scheduled to begin from September 7 and conclude on September 21. But it was postponed due to protest by the Opposition in view of Nuakhai festival in Western Odisha.
