Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Assembly’s eight-day monsoon session is scheduled to start from September 7 when the government is expected to table several bills.

The Parliamentary Affairs department released a notification following which the Assembly Secretary issued summons for the monsoon session.
During the eight-day session, six days are for official members and two are private members' days.

The government is likely to move bills pertaining to establishment of a council for development of higher education and accord of land and property rights to slum dwellers.
