Mob mercilessly thrashes minor boy for stealing money

Udala: Taking the law into their hands, a mob today thrashed a minor boy mercilessly after he was caught stealing money. The incident occurred in Udala of Mayurbhanj district, when the minor boy was thrashed near the High School Chhak while trying to flee after snatching a bag containing Rs 15,000 from a person.

According to sources, two of the boy’s associates managed to flee.

Later on police arrived at the spot and tried to rescue the boy. The boy was even manhandled in presence of the police as well.

Sources informed that the owner of the bag, Mohan Majhi has registered a case with Udala police.
