New Delhi: An Odia woman who had reportedly gone missing from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi yesterday, was found by the locals near the Deer Park in Safdarjung area this morning.

The whereabouts of the Odia woman was traced after the locals informed the OTV correspondent.

The woman has been identified as Rashmirekha Acharya from Banki area in Cuttack district.

Following her missing from AIIMS, Rashmi’s husband Jogeswar Acharya had lodged a complaint with the Hauz Khas Police Station.

As per reports, Jogeswar had consulted an AIIMS doctor about his wife who had a tumour. As per the advice of the doctor, he had brought his wife to AIIMS yesterday. After conducting the test of his wife, he took his wife out of the hospital and went to the neurosurgery outdoor ward to get the test report.

After finishing his work he came out of the Institute, but did not find his wife. After failing to trace her out despite a frantic search, Jogeswar later went to Hauz Khas Police Station and lodged a complaint alleging that his wife has been abducted.

However, much to his relief, the locals found his wife moving along the Deer Park area this morning.
