Bhubaneswar: Two tribal minors, who had reportedly gone missing from Bhubaneswar last week, were traced in Bhadrak on Monday. A detailed probe will now be conducted to ascertain how the kids reached Bhadrak, said Police Commissioner YB Khurania.

At present, both the minors including a girl are under the custody of Childline after Child Welfare Committee (CWC) officials had rescued them from Bhadrak railway station on June 16.

The minors are residents of Chirgiltola slum area under Infocity police limits in Bhubaneswar, sources said.

According to reports, the kids were 'missing' hours after they had left their respective homes for the nearest stadium. Later, family members of the two kids had filed separate complaints at Infocity police station after they did not return home.

Following the incident, Commissionerate Police had also announced a cash reward of Rs 2500 for providing information about the missing kids.

Addressing a presser, Police Commissioner YB Khurania today said that a team will be sent to Bhadrak soon after getting necessary permission from CWC to bring them back to Bhubaneswar.
