Missing boy found dead in Sambalpur   

Sambalpur: A six-year old child, who was missing since last three days, was found dead in a drain at N Guha Lane in Sakhipada here on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Kadir Khan of Bahalapada area.

Sources said the minor boy had been missing since Tuesday. Kadir's body wrapped in a gunny bag was recovered from a drain at Sakhipada this morning. It is suspected that Kadir has been brutally murdered.

On the other hand, tension prevailed in the locality after irate locals staged a road blockade at Church Chhak by burning tyres in protest.

Meanwhile, police have reached the spot and sent the dead body to the Burla Hospital  for autopsy. Further Investigation is on into the incident, police said.
