Miscreants loot temple hundi in Aul

Aul: A gang of unidentified miscreants robbed properties worth lakhs of rupees by breaking the hundi of Laxmi Baraha temple here late on Monday night.

According to sources, the miscreants also looted other articles belonging to the temple by breaking the doors of the houses in the premises of the temple.

The loot came to the fore in the morning today after servitors opened the door of the temple to perform the rituals of the deities, sources said adding that a complaint in this regard has been registered with local police.

On being informed about the incident, police rushed to the spot and started investigation into the matter.
