Miscreants loot cash, valuables from house in Soro

Soro: Unidentified miscreants looted cash and ornaments worth lakhs of rupees from the house of one Abhaya Kumar Mohapatra near Uttareswar market in Soro block of Balasore district today.

As per the complaint, the robbery happened when Abhaya and his family members had gone to Puri. The miscreants entered their house by breaking open the grill door of the house, informed sources. The looters later decamped with cash and the valuables.

Later, an FIR was lodged at the Soro police station in this connection. Based on the complaint, police reached the spot with a scientific team and have started investigation.
