Miscreants hurl bombs on BJD leader's vehicle

Cuttack: In a bizarre incident, unidentified miscreants hurled bombs at a Bolero vehicle at Polsara village near Niali of the district Sunday evening.

As per sources, the vehicle, identified to be of a local BJD leader, was stationed at the village when suddenly miscreants hurled bombs at it and fled. Sources said the Bolero has been partially damaged but no one was reportedly injured in the attack.

Getting information, police rushed to the spot and began investigation into the incident. "The culprits will be identified and arrested soon. Further investigation is on," said a police official.

Though the motive behind the incident has not been ascertained yet, previous enmity is suspected to be the cause of the attack.
