Bhubaneswar: In a minor reshuffle in bureaucracy soon after the Bijepur by-election, Odisha government today transferred Bargarh Collector Yamini Sarangi back to her previous place of posting at Jagatsinghpur as collector.

Sarangi was earlier appointed as Bargarh Collector after the Election Commission had ordered the State government to change Bargarh district Collector and SP, acting on a petition of the BJP.
The present Additional Secretary of School & Mass Education Department Indramani Tripathy has been appointed as Bargarh Collector while former Collector of the district Khagendra Kumar Padhi has been appointed in his place.
