Minor girl killed in one-sided love affair

Paralakhemundi: A minor girl was allegedly strangulated to death by a youth over one-sided love affair at Adasing village under Gurandi police station in Gajapati district.

While the girl was going to school, one Dileswar passed comments at the girl. Following this, the girl’s mother slapped the youth. To take revenge, Dileswar and his family members went the girl’s house and abused them there.

Later, the elder brother of Dileswar strangulated the minor girl to death with her Chunri (stole).
After preliminary investigation, police arrested Dileswar, his elder brother, father, uncle and one Narasingh Sabar and later forwarded them to court.
