Minor girl gang raped, dumped; 3 persons arrested

Phulbani: In a heinous crime, a minor girl was gang raped and later dumped at Baliguda in Kandhamal district.

As per allegations, the victim was abducted by two youths from her own village in a car while she was returning from her neighbor’s house. Sources informed that the minor was raped and then was dumped elsewhere following which the accused fled. The victim was rescued in the morning by nearby villagers.

A police complaint has been lodged by the family members of the victim. Based on the complaint, police have arrested the two youths and the car driver. Moreover, the car used by the accused has also been seized.
