Minor girl gang-raped by 3 youths in Udala

Udala: In one more incident that shames humanity, a minor girl was allegedly gang-raped by three youths last night at Badabisol village here under Kaptipada police limits in Mayurbhanj district.

The three accused gagged her while she was asleep and forcefully took her out of home to a nearby canal where they allegedly committed the heinous act, police said.

“Three accused Serala Murmu, Krushna Murmu and Madhia Murmu of the same village have been detained. The statement of the rape survivor will be recorded after a medical examination”, Kaptipada IIC said.

They also threatened to kill her if she divulges the matter, mother of the survivor said. "When my daughter tried to scream, they threatened to kill her.The trio belong to our village", her mother added.
