Minor gang rape: Four sentenced to 20-year jail term

Berhampur:  The District Sessions Judge Court, Ganjam, today sentenced four accused to 20-year imprisonment in connection with the gang rape of a minor girl of Gosaninuagan in Berhampur in 2013.

The four accused are Ghasi Swain, Chiku, Pinku and Arun.

As per the case records, the four accused had gang raped the minor girl on June 17, 2013.

To escape public shame, the victim had later committed suicide.
