MGNREGA row: No Job card in wife’s name, says Nabarangpur MLA

Bhubaneswar: After being cornered by opposition parties, BJD MLA from Nabarangpur, Manohar Randhari on Sunday refuted BJP’s allegations that job card was issued in his wife Urmila’s name.

Addressing a press conference, Manohar Randhari clarified that the woman against whose the job card has been issued is not his wife. The MLA further informed that the woman‘s husband name is clearly mentioned as Ramesh Randhari.
“The allegations levelled by BJP are completely baseless,” said Manohar.

Manohar further informed that a fake Facebook account in the name of ‘Manohar Gandhari’ has been opened and objectionable remarks have been posted.

The particular Facebook account has been created and my photographed has been used in it. However, it is completely a fake account created to defame me, Manohar added.

The MLA further said that already, a case has been filed with the cyber cells of Nabarangpur and Cuttack on the issue of the fake Facebook account for appropriate action.
