Met issues lightning warning for 15 districts

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Department today issued lightning warning for 15 districts in the State.

In a release issued to media today, the met department predicted lightning accompanied with thunderstorm is likely to occur in Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Khurda, Cuttack, Puri, Gajapati, Rayagada, Nabarangpur and Koraput districts.

People in these districts have been cautioned to stay indoors and take shelter in buildings and other safe locations as a precautionary measure till 4.30 pm.
