Bhubaneswar: Sikha Samantaray,the wife of Barabati-Cuttack BJD MLA Debashish Samantaray’s brother, on Wednesday met the State Commission for Women (SCW) in connection with the metal harassment complaint lodged by her against the legislator two days back.
Sikha was accompanied by her son, daughter and her sister during her visit to SCW where she discussed her case with the authorities.
On the other hand, Debasis has also filed a station diary at the Badambadi Police station. In his complaint, Debasis has alleged that Sikha is trying to defame him because he did not to give some amount which she demanded
In her complaint lodged two days back, Sikha had alleged that she is being tortured mentally by Samantaray. “He is not giving the required money needed for the treatment of my husband,” she had said.
“He also threatens me to leave the house. Moreover, I and my son have a threat to life as Samantaray has links with many anti-socials,” Sikha alleged.
