Meeting of SIT on black money begins in Cuttack

Cuttack: The eighth meeting of Special Investigation Team (SIT) on black money, appointed by the Supreme Court, has begun under the chairmanship of Justice Arijit Pasayat at his residence here today.

The meeting will bring illegal financial transactions of mafia Dhalasamanta brothers, arrested self-proclaimed godman Sura and Sarathi Baba issues to the table. Besides, review discussions on chit fund scam investigations are also likely to take place during the meeting, sources said.

Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax SP Choudhary, Vigilance Director RP Sharma, Crime Branch Special DG BK Sharma, Twin City Police Commissioner YB Khurania, Cuttack DCP Sanjeev Arora, Special Director of Enforcement Directorate (ED) Kolkata Yogesh Gupta and Odisha branch ED Chief Madhav Mishra are also present in the meeting.
