Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) on Friday declared the results of the High School Certificate (HSC) Supplementary examination and State Institute of Open School (SIOS) examination.

According to reports, Out of 10,870 students, 4918 have passed the examination with overall pass percentage of 45.58.

One student with A1 grade, six with A2, 12 with B1, 58 with B2, 332 with C, 1370 with D, 2163 with E grade have cleared HSC Supplementary examination.

The students can get the details of their results on the two websites of the Board— www.bseodisha.ac.in and www.bseodisha.nic.in —from 12.30 pm onwards.

The Supplementary examination was held from June 2 to 8 at 45 centres in all district headquarters.

Besides, the results of the State Institute of Open School (SIOS) examination were also declared today.

Out of 2980 students 1204 have passed the examination with an overall pass percentage of 45.11.

About 3, 200 students had applied for the examinations of which 2820 had appeared in the examinations at 17 centres in Angul, Puri, Ganjam, Mayurbhjanj, Cuttack, Kalahandi and Balangir districts held on April 11.

To help these students, the Board, for the first time, had started the SIOS programme from this year to allow Class VII dropout students and students who have failed in the High School Certificate (HSC) examinations to appear in the High School Certificate (HSC) examinations.
