Maoists loot ration meant for BSF at Chitrakonda

Malkangiri: Maoists reportedly looted two boats laden with rations meant for BSF Jawans near Totapadar in cut-off areas of Chitrakonda in Malkangiri district last evening.

According to sources, the grocery items were being transported to Kunturpadar police camp. The ultras robbed all the rations after beating up the boatmen.

“A private boat was carrying the grocery items from Chitrakonda. The Maoists intercepted the boat at Kotagoda Ghat and looted the boat,” said Malkangiri SP Jagmohan Meena.
