Maoists kill one; torch 3 buses, 3 trucks on Malkangiri border

Malkangiri: Striking terror once again in border areas of Malkangiri, Maoists killed a bus passenger suspecting him to be a police informer and torched three buses and three trucks at Dornapal in Chhattisgarh today.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.

Sources said out of the three buses, one was going from Malkangiri to Hyderabad and another from Jagdalpur to Hyderabad.

The armed ultras intercepted the buses near Dornapal and asked all the passengers to alight. They dragged a passenger out of the vehicle and killed him. Later, they set the buses ablaze.

Besides, the Ultras also torched three trucks passing through the road during the incident.
