Maoists attack BSF camp in Malkangiri

Malkangiri: Maoists attacked a Border Security Force (BSF) camp located at Kartalpali under Mathili police limits in Malkangiri district last night.

According to information, the ultras fired at the BSF camp in opposition of voting at Kartalpali. The BSF Jawans retaliated. However, no casualty has been reported in the incident.

Notably, Maoists have been opposing the Panchayat Polls in the district. Earlier, they had warned the tribal people not to contest and cast vote in the election.
