Manas Sahoo spreads environment message through sand art

Puri: Eminent sand artist Manas Sahoo created a sand art to spread the message to save environment at light house beach in the pilgrim town on the occasion of World Environment Day today.

Sahoo created the 15 feet tall sand sculpture using 15 tonnes of sand with the message ‘Save Environment-Don’t Destroy Our Home’.

While one part of sand art depicts greenery of a forest, the other part of the sculpture portrayed men destroying the forest.

Talking to OTV Sahoo said, “It will be a great gift to our next generation if we can save our environment. I have tried to create awareness among the people through this sand art.”

“If we destroy the forests, a day will come when the environment will be destroyed. I tried to showcase how to conserve precious wildlife through my sand art,” Sahoo added
