Bhubaneswar: Soon after OTV reported about a man from Bijipur Village under Bramhagiri block in Puri district who was living inside a crematorium expecting to be cured of his ailments, the district administration rescued the person and has assured all financial assistance for his treatment.

The man identified as Prabhat Baral made the crematorium his home for the last couple of days with a hope that he would get cured of his ailments.

According to reports, one Prabhat suffering from some medical disorders,  has been spending days in a cremation ground. His family said, he has been staying at the cremation ground with the hope that he will be cured.

"Ï am unable to walk due to pain in waist and legs and as per family's decision and advice from some people, I am now staying in the crematorium with a hope that Lord will cure me," said Baral.

Local villagers stated that since the family cannot afford advance medical treatment, they have adopted such a practice.

"As doctors said that his condition would improve only after surgery and we don’t have the ability to afford the cost, we were forced to adopt such practice," said Biswal's wife, Prabhasini.
