Man shot at in Khurda; critical

Khurda: Panic gripped Khurda town after a man was shot at by unidentified miscreants near the Industrial Estate Outpost this morning.

According to reports, Kedarnath Ranjit of Kantabania village of Mandarabasta panchayat was on the way to Bhubaneswar with his daughter on his bike when two miscreants opened fire at him near Industrial Estate Outpost and fled the area.

Kedarnath, who sustained bullet injuries on his stomach, fell down from his bike with his daughter.

Hearing the firing, locals rushed to the spot and informed the police.

A police team rushed to the spot and admitted Kedarnath to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar where his condition is stated to be critical
