Man kills brother over property dispute

Angul: In a bizarre incident, a man killed his younger brother over some property dispute at Kumurisingha village in the district.

A long standing dispute over property share between Rohit Nayak and his younger brother Rajendra took an ugly turn when Rohit prepared for construction of new house. Rajendra had been opposing distribution of plots.

As Rohit started construction for his new house, Rajendra also protested it. Being irate over the act of his brother, Rohit attacked his brother with a crowbar killing him on the spot.

Police rushed to the spot and seized the body for post-mortem. Rohit is absconding soon after committing the crime.
