Jharsuguda: Tulsi Rohidas, who was injured in firing on the Jharsuguda by-pass road in what appeared to be a case of road rage yesterday, died in hospital on Monday.

Tulsi, who was seriously injured in the firing, was admitted to SCB medical in Cuttack where he succumbed to his injuries. Tulsi was hit by three bullets on his head.

Four persons going on two motorcycles had fired at Tulsi after his bike overtook them. He fell down after he was shot three times on the head. Tulsi was initially admitted to the Jharsuguda Headquarters hospital and was later shifted to Cuttack after his health condition deteriorated.

Jharsuguda police is currently investigating the matter.
