Man held for beating wife to death in Dumduma

Bhubaneswar: In a bizarre incident, a man was arrested by the Khandagiri Police for beating his wife to death in a house situated in the Dumduma Housing Board Colony here today.

Though the motive behind the murder is not known yet, a family quarrel is suspected to be the cause of the crime committed by the arrested person.

The woman’s murder by her husband has created a fear among residents in the area while the whole is celebrating the New Year.
