Man gets stuck in Assembly lift, rescued after one hour

Bhubaneswar: Debasish Pradhan, an employee had a harrowing experience after he got stuck in an elevator at Odisha Assembly here on Friday evening.

Pradhan was trapped due to a reported malfunctioning of the elevator at around 5 pm today. He was stuck on the first floor for over an hour, sources said.

Following the incident, an SOS call was made to the Fire Services who soon arrived at the spot. However, it was only after quite an exercise by Fire Services personnel that Prahan was rescued.
