New Delhi/ Bhubaneswar: The tripartite meeting called by the Union Water Resources department to resolve the Mahanadi issue is underway at the Shram Shakti Bhawan in Delhi.

The meeting which started at 12 in the noon, is being chaired by Union Water Resources minister Uma Bharti.

Prior to attending the meeting, chief minister Naveen Patnaik hold a discussion with BJD MPs to chalk out plans for the high-level meeting.

Among others, Industry minister Debi Prasad Mishra, Housing and Urban Development minister Pushpendra Singhdeo, Chief Secretary AP Padhi and Water Resource secretary P K Jena are present atthe tripartite meeting, sources said.
