Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha especially north and interior parts will experience moderate to heavy rains under the influence of a low pressure formed over the west-central Bay of Bengal from today till June 11, said the Regional Meteorological Centre here on Friday.

The met office further stated heavy rainfall induced by the low pressure was reported in Ganjam, Gajapati, Koraput and Rayagada districts today.

Meanwhile, arrival of the monsoon in the State is likely to be delayed for two-three days due to current low rainfall in north-eastern parts of the country, the weather office added.
