Lovebirds jump into Subarnarekha: Boy’s body recovered

Balasore: The body of a youth, who had jumped into river Subarnarekha along with her girl friend on December 18, was recovered from the river today.

After a thorough search, the family members of deceased Soumyaranjan Dhal and the locals recovered the dead body from the river. Notably, Soumyaranjan and his girlfriend Nilima Sethy of Bishnupur had jumped into the river on December 18 due to some reason. The fire fighters later traced the body of Nilima on December 20.

Sources said the two had been in a love relationship and wanted to get married. However, their family members had not approved their move for marriage as they belonged to different castes.
