Bhubaneswar: The commissionerate police today issued a look out notice against Manoj Nayak, the owner of the SUM Hospital where 21 patients were killed after a deadly fire mishap.

According to sources, the circular was issued against Manoj Nayak, his wife Saswati Das, both of whom are the trustees of the Shiksha O’ Anusandhan Charitable Trust.

The circular has been issued to prevent Manoj and his wife from moving out of country, informed Police Commissioner YB Khurania. Moreover, a letter has also been sent to the Union Home ministry in this regard, informed Khurania.

“We have alerted all the airports and ports and have shared their passport particulars. They cannot travel abroad. When a particular person is being searched for and is not available to cooperate in the investigation, there is a high likelihood that he could move out of the country, hence a circular has been issued to prevent any delay in investigation,” Khurania said.
