Locals stage demo before Begunia MLA's house

Bhubaneswar: Protesting the use of abusive language by Begunia BJD MLA Prashant Jagdev, locals staged a demonstration in front of his Government quarter here today.

Notably, the MLA had abused the owner of a makeshift hotel that was set up in from of his residence with filthy language a few days ago. When he pleaded with the MLA and said that some BJD leaders had gave him permission, Jagdev also abused his party leaders.

However, MLA Jagdev refuted the allegation. He said the allegations are baseless. “In fact, after the news was aired on a news channel, the locals again came in front of my house and abused me in vulgar language. They were again installing the makeshift stall. I called the police following which the cops came and demolished it. I have no connection in the matter."
