Bengaluru: Five-year-old Myra Muni, who won the ‘Little Miss India 2017’ title on February 26 in Bengaluru, has left for Bulgaria to participate in the Little Miss & Mister Galaxy to be held at Bansko from March 13 to 20.

Myra, a resident of Hinjilicut of Ganjam district, yesterday left for Bulgaria along with parents from the Bengaluru airport to participate in the Little Miss & Mister Galaxy in which participants from 35 countries are going to take part.

Myra told newsmen, “I am confident of winning the Little Miss & Mister Galaxy pageant.”

Nandini Muni, Myra’s mother, commented, "We are quite happy and have done a lot of preparations for the international pageant. We have no words to explain our excitement as parents."

She added, "I am quite hopeful Myra will win the global pageant and bring pride for Odisha. I want the people of the State to pray to god for my daughter's win."

Malaya Muni, Myra’s father, informed, "Five rounds of competition will be held at the pageant for nearly 10 days."

He further stated, "Due to Lord Jagannath's grace, Myra is here and we expect she will win the pageant."
