Leopard pug marks spotted in Daringbadi

Phulbani: Panic gripped residents of Simanbadi village near Daringbadi in Kandhamal district after pug marks of a leopard were found in some places in the locality today.

Locals said they saw a leopard roaming in the area early in the morning.

“The leopard was moving towards Surusahasahi passing through a path near Simanbadi Bazaar at around 6 am,” said a onlooker.

However, forest department officials could not be contacted over the matter.
