Bhubaneswar: Mortal remains of Pitabasa Majhi, a BSF jawan of Danojhala village under Komana police limits of Nuapada district killed during a combing operation following a terrorist attack on an army camp in Uri of Jammu and Kashmir on September 18, today consigned to flames at the native place amid state honour.

The mortal remains of Majhi was brought to Danojhala in a special vehicle after it was flown to the Bhubaneswar airport from Raipur.

Notably, Majhi breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a hospital after he was injured during the combing operation following the Uri attack.
