Bhubaneswar: In accordance to CM’s 3Ts - Teamwork, Technology, Transparency- framework, the Revenue department today launched the online facility for mutation of land in 38 tehsils.

Revenue minister Maheswar Mohanty inaugurated the service today in presence of senior officials of the department.

“Online mutation facility was started in 38 tehsils today. Moreover, a system which will have all the updated information of a tehsil was also inaugurated. This system will have all the detailed information on the pending Revenue cases which can be accessed by the general public. A monitoring unit has also been set up within the department to supervise all these works,” said Mohanty.

The minister also informed that the online facility will be rolled out at all the 317 tehsils of the State by March 2018.

“The government has decided to make all the operations of a tehsil online so that the general public can check the status of their pending work or cases. Moreover, every tehsil will have its own website and by January 15, 2018 all these websites will go live will all the requisite data,” said Secretary of the Revenue department.

Moreover, the State government has signed an agreement with broadband service provider BSNL to ensure internet connectivity to all tehsils by March 2018, informed sources.
