Berhampur: Berhampur Sadar Police on Thursday took former Sanakhemundi Congress MLA Ramesh Jena and two others on a two-day remand for interrogation in a land grabbing case.

According to reports, police took Jena and his two associates Murali Mohan and Buna Sahu from the Berhmapur Circle Jail for interrogation.

Notably, Sadar police had registered a case against Kiran Panda and these three persons on April 8 on the charges of forcible possession of four acres of land of a person in Nimakhandi and Borigan areas.

While Panda is under police custody, police has taken Jena and his two associates for interrogation to know about their link with him in the land grab case.
