Lady staff of jewellery showroom stabbed

Bhubaneswar: Chandresekharpur police today arrested a youth after he stabbed a lady staff of a jewellery showroom.

According to reports, the lady staff was having her lunch in the canteen of the jewellery showroom when one Nikhil Jena, a worker of the canteen, suddenly stabbed her from behind.

The seriously injured woman was rushed to Aditya Care Hospital where her condition was stated to be stable.

Police later arrested the youth.

However, the exact cause of the incident was not known.

Interrogation of the accused is on, police said.
