Bhubaneswar: Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) on Saturday fixed the prices of tickets for the upcoming first T20 international match of the Paytm Series between India- Sri Lanka to be played at Barabati stadium in Cuttack on December 20.

A spectator has to pay Rs 600 for gallery no 1 and 3, Rs 500 for gallery no 2 and 4 and Rs 400 for gallery no 6 and 7 tickets while the prices for special enclosure has been fixed at Rs 3,000 and Rs 8,000 for corporate box tickets.

Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) officials informed that adequate measures will be taken for the counter sale of tickets for the T20 match will start from December 16. The dates for the online ticket sale will be announced shortly.

Spectators can purchase tickets through bank drafts, debit cards and in cash. However, the cash transactions have been limited to Rs 2,000 per spectator.

Meanwhile, the scheduled first T20 international between India- Sri Lanka has been insured for Rs 21.71 crore.

Official sources said, some changes in the preparations for the key international T20 match have been made in order to beef up security and maintain law and order during the game.

Besides, the printing of tickets for the crucial match will be done outside Odisha for safety purpose, informed Police Commissioner YB Khurania at a press conference after the preparatory meeting held on Saturday.

Mumbai based Interactive Technologies Private Limited officials have been instructed to add certain safety features including holograms and barcode on tickets.

The company officials have also agreed to provide adequate manpower and set up ‘May I Help You’ counters for assisting spectators at the stadium.
