Youth arrested for making private picture viral

Deogarh: Close on the heels of an obscene video of a girl from Dharmagarh in Kalahandi district being raped after she was forced to drink alcohol going viral on social media, another objectionable picture has surfaced from Riamala in Deogarh district where a girl and a youth were seen kissing each other.

Police today arrested the youth in the picture, Hrushikesh Biswal of Kumala village, for making the picture viral on social media.

As per police sources, the youth works as an auto driver and he also admitted to have intentionally made the pictures viral on March 31 last month following frequent arguments with the girl.

Several mobile phones were also seized from his possession while police have arrested the youth and forwarded him to court, sources said.

Accused Hrushikesh said, "The girl was in a relationship with me. She used to use my vehicle for rent purposes and had taken money from me. For some reason she stopped talking with me. Because of all these things, I made it viral on March 31."
