Khurdha Golipada toll gate loot: 2 more arrested

Khurdha: Police arrested two more persons involved in the incident of loot that had occurred at Khurdha Golipada toll gate. The cops also seized Rs 2.55 lakh in cash, two new bikes and a car from their possession.

The arrested two were Bikash Chandra Behera of Dashpalla Madhyakhanda in Nayagarh district and Sukant Paikray of Kaimati near Jatni in Khurdha district. Police conducted a raid at a house at Palla in Khurdha where the duo was staying and arrested the duo.

During interrogation, the accused revealed that the loot was committed on the basis of information given by three staffs at the toll gate. The accused toll gate staffs are now on the run. Earlier, one accused was arrested in this connection. Notably, Rs 48 lakh was looted from the toll gate on June 13.
