Bhubaneswar: Senior BJD leader and Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda on Monday reviewed the status of the ongoing Haridaspur-Paradip railway project in a meeting with the executive director of the project.

It was revealed in the meeting that the construction work of the 82 km rail project is in full swing. While construction of a railway bridge over Mahanadi has been completed, construction of another bridge over Luna river will be completed by October this year.

“This will be the first railway project in Kendrapara district whose completion will pave way for rapid industrialisation and creation of vast employment opportunities,” Panda said.
