Bhubaneswar: The Indian women’s team featuring sprinters Dutee Chand and Srabani Nanda won the silver medal in the women’s 4X100 metre relay while the Indian men’s team with Odia sprinter Amiya Kumar Mallick bagged the gold medal in the 4X100 metre event of the XXVI International Meeting G.Kosanov Memorial in Almaty, Kazakhstan on Saturday.

The Indian women’s relay team comprising Dutee, Srabani, Jyothi Hiriyur Manjunath, Merlin Kurian Joseph, Sini Sahadevan and Himashree Roy clocked 44.10 seconds while the men’s team comprising Amiya, Jyoti Sankar Debnath, Krishna Kumar Rane, Abdul Najeeb Qureshi and Vidya Sagar won the gold medal clocking 39.86 seconds.
