Joyride turns nightmare! Ferris wheel gets stuck at Baramunda ‘Puja Pandal’

Bhubaneswar: A joy ride turned into a nightmare for some Puja revellers after a Ferris Wheel suffered an accidental breakdown at the Puja Pandal near Baramunda in Bhubaneswar on Thursday night.

According to sources the bearing of the Ferris Wheel developed some mechanical snag leading to the mishap. Fire brigade officials were called to the spot to rescue panicked riders suspended mid-air.

Till last reports came in all the riders were rescued unhurt by the fire brigade personnel.
